We always use it in accordance with the principles of legality, transparency, confidentiality, human oversight, and the protection of fundamental rights.
The incorporation of artificial intelligence tools into our internal processes does not replace the professional judgment or legal advice provided by our attorneys and consultants.
2. Purpose of Using Artificial Intelligence
Artificial intelligence tools may be used, among other purposes, to:
- Assist in the search for and organization of legal, tax, labor, or commercial information.
- Facilitate the preliminary review of documents.

3. Human supervision
All information generated using artificial intelligence tools is reviewed, validated, and, if necessary, corrected by qualified professionals before it is used or provided to clients.
Legal, tax, labor, and commercial decisions are made exclusively by professionals at CIFRAS LEGAL, S.L.
4. Protection of Personal Data
When the use of artificial intelligence tools involves the processing of personal data, such processing will be carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Organic Law 3/2018, and all other applicable regulations.
CIFRAS LEGAL, S.L. implements measures designed to minimize the amount of data used and, whenever possible, uses anonymized or pseudonymized information.
Personal data shall not be incorporated into artificial intelligence tools when doing so could compromise confidentiality, professional secrecy, or applicable regulations.
5. Confidentiality and Professional Secrecy
The information provided by our clients is subject to a duty of confidentiality and, where applicable, to the attorney-client privilege inherent in the practice of law.
The use of artificial intelligence tools does not alter or limit these obligations.
CIFRAS LEGAL, S.L. takes the necessary measures to preserve the confidentiality of the information it processes and selects technology providers that offer adequate safeguards regarding data security and protection.
6. Technology Providers
When using artificial intelligence solutions developed by third parties, CIFRAS LEGAL, S.L. will endeavor to engage providers that offer sufficient guarantees regarding security, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.
If such providers involve international transfers of personal data, these transfers will be made only when the safeguards provided for by applicable regulations are in place.
7. Transparency
When the use of artificial intelligence systems is relevant to the provision of a service or the preparation of certain documents, CIFRAS LEGAL, S.L. will act transparently toward its clients, informing them, when appropriate, of the use of such tools.
8. Limitations
Artificial intelligence tools may produce errors, inaccuracies, or incomplete responses.
For this reason:
- do not constitute legal advice in and of themselves;
- do not replace professional judgment;
- do not result in automated decisions regarding customers;
- They always require human supervision and validation.
